ParalegalSkills.ca

How it works

From subscription to filed document.

No technical setup beyond pasting one key into a connector. Skills, sparring partners, and legal assistants all run through the same connection, so there's nothing extra to install or switch on. Full step-by-step walkthrough, with worked Small Claims examples, is in the beginner's manual you get on signup.

  1. 01

    Subscribe and get your key

Pick a plan, then generate your API key from the Connect page in your dashboard. Takes a few seconds, with no downloads and no file uploads.

  2. 02

Connect it to Claude or ChatGPT

Paste your key into a custom connector (Claude.ai) or connector setup (ChatGPT). Your dashboard's Connect page has the exact server address and step-by-step instructions for both.

  3. 03

Describe the task, or greet a persona

Tell the assistant what you're working on, like "draft an L1 application," and the matching skill takes over. Or address one of your practice area's sparring partners by name, like "hey Marcus, LTB issue," and they'll play the other side so you can practice the matter first.

  4. 04

Hand off to complete the form

Mid-conversation, ask to actually complete the application. If you started with a sparring partner, they step aside for their department's Legal Assistant, who drafts using your own subscription's skill library rather than staying in an adversarial role.

  5. 05

Stress-test, then review before it leaves your hands

Once the form is done, the Legal Assistant can bring the sparring partner back to poke holes in it before you file. Either way, everything flags what needs verifying against an official source, and stops outright if a matter looks outside paralegal scope. You review, verify, and sign off.

Not technical? That's fine.

If you can copy-paste a password, you can connect this. The manual covers both platforms with screenshots and a troubleshooting table.
