Who is C.L.A.R.A
The one who keeps an eye on the law.
CLARA stands for Case Law And Regulatory Alerts. She works behind the scenes of every skill on ParalegalSkills.ca. Forms get renumbered, practice directions get revised, and fees change. CLARA is how the library keeps up.

What she does
- 01
She watches the official sources
Every day, CLARA checks Ontario's official legal sources, like Tribunals Ontario, CanLII, and the Department of Justice, for changes to the forms, rules, fees, and deadlines our skills rely on.
- 02
She flags what changed
When something no longer matches a skill, CLARA flags it: a renumbered form, a revised practice direction, an updated fee, or a new decision worth knowing about.
- 03
A licensed paralegal signs off
CLARA never rewrites a skill on her own. Every flag is reviewed by a licensed Ontario paralegal before anything changes, so updates are checked by a person, not just a machine.
- 04
Your skills stay current
Once approved, the update goes straight into the library. There's nothing to download or reinstall. The next time you use a skill, you're working from the current version.
Where she fits in
Your AI team has three roles that do the work, and CLARA keeps all of them honest.
Skills
Draft it.
Step by step guidance for Ontario forms and procedure.
Sparring partners
Test it.
Personas who play the other side so you can practise first.
Legal assistants
File it.
Help completing the form once you're ready.
CLARA
Keep it current.
Makes sure all of the above stays in step with the law.
You still have the final word.
CLARA helps keep the library current, but she doesn't replace your professional judgment. Every skill still tells you to verify fees, deadlines, and form numbers against the official source before you file.
